CFM Cash For Kids

Staff and students have been completing a 5K a day for the past month.

Staff and students from the Cumbria Academy For Autism have been completing a 5K every day for the past month in order to contribute to some very important causes.

In total, they raised £780, with £100 being donated to those affected by the house fire in Distington, and £680 going towards CFM Cash For Kids.

The scheme ran for the whole month of May and all year groups were involved.

Staff saw this initiative as a good opportunity to teach the students of the school some essential life skills, as well as showing some good will for the community. There were also cake sales, tombolas and raffles for everyone to enjoy.
